At the base of the Mowat Carpet Factory on King street between Frasier street and Mowat street is a restaurant with Old World charm. Caffino has twenty foot ceilings and soaring windows in the the dining room which is adjacent to the breathtaking courtyard – a perfect place for any occasion.
This is an Italian eatery that keeps it simple and uses fresh ingredients. Home made pasta, organic meats and poultry and locally grown herbs and vegetables are just some of the usual ingredients.
The restaurant features separate menus for lunch and dinner, with a wide range of pastas, pizzas and panini sandwiches. There’s a selection of mains like veal shank with risotto, sesame crusted tuna steak, grilled lamp chops and lot more.
